I have seen those recommendations about time limits enhancing read counts. That's not even on my radar. I write to make a point. My first post is a 43-minute read, while most are 6-7 minute reads. I don't even think about length when I get ready to post. What gets written is what I need to make my point.

I'll never be a top 1%-er on earnings here, but I make enough to cover the subscription price, with enough left over for the odd treat. That's enough.

I've always said, I could write 1-minute pieces on sex, crypto and how to get rich on Medium, but I wouldn't be happy. And if we're not happy, what's it all worth anyway?
