I know this feeling. As an INTJ, I find interacting with others to be incredibly draining. I need that alone time to reset. More socially oriented people never understand this. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people intrude on my alone time asking, “Are you doing ok?”
It is as though they can’t accept the idea that someone could be happy alone. They assume that if I am voluntarily isolating, I must be angry at them or about something.
That’s one of the two questions I hate hearing. The other: “What are you thinking?” Give me strength.
