I never put these together, but now that you mention it, it makes a lot of sense. Both my parents are hard core narcissists. Neither are alcoholic, but both come from alcoholic households. Both sides of my family are heavily alcoholic. That’s one of the reasons I choose not to drink. It’s not a moralistic thing with me, but knowing that’s in my family, I just don’t want to start down that road. I have an article on narcissism that’s scheduled to post this coming Thursday.
