I owe Sting a big thank you for introducing me to Anne Rice. It was back when I was in college, I had bought Sting's Dream of the Blue Turtles album. In the liner notes, he credited Interview with the Vampire as the inspiration for his song Moon Over Bourbon Street. I bought a copy, and stayed up all night reading it. I was super tired the next day, but it was so worth it!
