I wear a mustache & goatee. My parents hated it. Now that alone is reason enough, but I have a much more practical reason. The hair on my head is dead straight, baby-fine and brown. My facial hair comes in thick, black, wiry and curly. When I used to shave clean, I had a constant problem with infected ingrown hairs. In my teen years, I thought it was acne. Finally figured out that if I just grow a short beard, there's no ingrowth. Who knew?
