I write because it's the only creative outlet I've ever shown a shred of talent for. I tried playing musical instruments, and sent people running for the exits. As for drawing, on a good day, I can pull off a competent stick figure. I tried computer programming, and while I'm decent at it, I don't love it. It's a tool for solving problems. It's really no more fun for me than using a can opener to open a can of cat food. It gets the job done, but doesn't nourish my soul. When writing, I speak from the heart, and nothing else makes me feel that way. Oh, but I will draw stick figures on commission, if anyone's interested. Nobody?
