It's the same issue people have always faced who have nonstandard abilities. In my case, being short one eye gives me a perspective and a set of visual perceptions that most people do not understand. I don't think of it as a handicap.

As far as the 3D tech is concerned, I put it in the same category as if someone invented a machine that required 3 arms to operate. Most people would be at a loss. No matter how useful the output, that would be a pretty useless machine until the interface issues were resolved.

If the designers of 3D interfaces want the tech to be used, it's on them to make it accessible. It's not like I can grow a new eye.
