True thing. I majored in Biology in school, including lots of genetics and population biology. Jurassic Park, for all its camp, was right about life finding a way. There have been a slew of mass extinctions in the past, and life always rebounded. We are now heading into a new mass extinction. Chicken Littles will sometimes wax dramatic about life on Earth being wiped out. It won't. Life will go on, as life is resilient beyond all reason. If our environment changes enough, we will not survive. It won't mean the end of the world. Just the end of us.
