Yeah, after I cut off contact with my narcissistic parents, they did the stalking thing for a while. I was living in a different state by then. My Mom even had one of my sisters, who was a clinical social worker, use her employer-granted access to a law enforcement database, to track me down using my social security number.
My sister told my Mom my phone number at work, and she called while I was at lunch and went off on my co-workers. She was convinced they were covering for me when they told her I was out of the building. I told my co-workers that if that ever happened again, they had permission to hang up on my idiot mother.
After years of annoyance and several interstate moves, with no forwarding address given, my parents finally lost track of me. Better, my sister no longer has access to the police computers, so she can't track me anymore either.
The last time I heard from my family was when I lived in Seattle, WA. One of my sisters called the Seattle PD and reported me as a missing person. I got a visit from an SPD detective while I was at work. I called my sister and made it clear she was not to ever do anything like that again.
It's now been years since last contact, and the peace & quiet are great.
Have a great day!
