Yeah, when I was in high school, they told us: "This is the best time of your life. Enjoy it while you can." Wow. So, my life peaks at 17 and it's all downhill after that? I always thought that was the most stupid, depressing advice. And now in my fifties, I can say it's patently not true. If anything, it was high school that was the low point, and I didn't even have to deal with social media and school shootings. I don't know how you can even do high school now. It totally gets better, though.
